Hyderabad, Telangana, India & Online
6–7 November 2025

Overview

The 2025 Annual Meeting of the International Labour Organization’s Child Labour Platform will convene in Hyderabad, India, with hybrid participation available.

This year’s theme, “From Business Policies to Impact”, reflects the growing urgency to translate commitments into concrete, measurable change. The meeting will showcase practical approaches to responsible recruitment, adequate wages, and human rights due diligence, and will highlight the ILO’s area-based strategies and tools for sustainable impact.

Participants will engage in high-level discussions, peer-to-peer learning, and country-specific working group sessions, with a focus on strengthening partnerships and promoting competitiveness through business conduct.

Objectives

  • Share promising practices and lessons learned from CLP’s initiatives and partner efforts.
  • Explore concrete business actions to address the root causes of child labour and advance due diligence in CLP members’ supply chain.
  • Strengthen multi-stakeholder collaboration across sectors and geographies.
  • Deepen understanding of how decent work elements—such as fair recruitment and adequate wages—can be integrated into supply chain strategies.
