ILO Child Labour Platform 14th Annual Meeting, “From the Ground Up: Collective Action to End Child Labour in Supply Chains”

The 14th Annual Meeting of the ILO Child Labour Platform will take place in person from 30 November to 01 December 2023 at the ILO Headquarters in Geneva.

The Platform’s annual meeting is an important opportunity to take stock of our collective efforts to combat child labour, exchange knowledge on common and emerging challenges, and foster partnerships and actions on the ground. Companies from across sectors and regions will convene in Geneva this year, along with representatives of governments, employers’ and workers’ organizations, and international organizations.

The theme “From the Ground Up: Collective Action to End Child Labour in Supply Chains” will guide our deliberations on addressing the root causes of child labour at national level and in vulnerable communities. The ILO CLP will bring together Country Working Groups for Côte d’Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and India to foster dialogue with governments and strengthen collaborations with ILO projects. The meeting will also feature a strategic workshop on tackling child labour in coffee supply chains, peer-to-peer learning opportunities, and panels tackling important issues ranging from engaging suppliers to the linking climate and child labour due diligence.

Attendance at the annual meeting is by invitation only. For more information, please contact the ILO CLP Secretariat: clp@ilo.org.
