CLP session – OECD Forum on Responsible Mineral Supply Chains

How can we foster greater multi-stakeholder collaboration to address child labour and working conditions in Artisanal and Small Mining (ASM)?

This webinar will take place on Thursday 29th April 2021 at 11:00-13:00 CEST during the OECD Forum on Responsible Mineral Supply Chains and is organized by the CLP in partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor and Levin Sources.

The session will bring the Governments of Madagascar and the Philippines together with social partners’, businesses and civil society to highlight promising practices and lessons learned from selected initiatives; (2) share their experiences in developing and implementing practical actions against child labour at all levels; and (3) propose ways to accelerate progress to achieve SDG Target 8.7 and decent work in the mining sector. Interpretation in English, French and Spanish will be provided.
